#MrEnergy signs in Pro A France, heading to Le Portel
In the recent days, O.D. Anosike reached an agreement to join ESSM Le Portel in France. The team competes in the Jeep Elite Pro A league, which is the highest caliber league in France and one of the strongest leagues in all of Europe.
“I feel really good about my decision to join a serious and ambitious organization like Le Portel” said Anosike. “At this point of my career, I’m looking to be an impact player on a winning team. The team is already made up of good players, and my job is to try my best to help the team improve even more to reach new heights”.
The signing is actually a return to France for Anosike, as he joined SIG Strasbourg for a short playoff stint in 2014. Le Portel currently stands tied for fourth place in the standings at 4-3. Anosike will compete in his first game with his new teammates in a home matchup against second-placed team Chalon on November 5.
