Anosike returns “home”, inks deal with Enel Brindisi
After a short break, OD Anosike has reached a contractual agreement with New Basket Enel Brindisi of the Italian Serie A league.
After quick stints in Spain and Greece, Anosike is excited about returning to familiar territory, as he enjoyed great success in his previous two seasons while playing in Italy.
“It’s a blessing to be going back to Italy” said Anosike. “It’s a place that’s virtually become a second home to me. Regarding Brindisi specifically, it’s one of the most respected and admired clubs in Italy. They have a very passionate fanbase who expects excellence every season. I’m just thankful for the opportunity.”
Anosike will depart for Europe and join his new teammates next week. Anosike and company will take on fellow Siena College alum Ronald Moore and Giorgo Tesi Group Pistoia on January 17.
