A new country and challenge, OD Anosike inks deal in Turkey’s highest pro league
Although OD Anosike has been well traveled during the course of his career, he makes a new stop on his journey for his 10th professional season. Last week Anosike inked a one-year deal with Manisa BBSK, BSL newcomer in Turkey’s highest professional league.
“I’m excited about the opportunity” said Anosike. “Although I’ve played in some great leagues and countries, I’ve always wanted to play in Turkey. I’ve heard great things about their culture, people and basketball style and I’m looking forward to helping the club reach its goals. With the roster talent that we’ve been able to assemble this summer, it should be a fun year”.
Anosike will join his teammates at the beginning of September. After a month of preseason training and exhibitions, the team will begin the regular season at the beginning of October.
