Anosike concludes third pro season in strong fashion; evaluating options for next year

FullSizeRenderOD Anosike ended his third professional season in outstanding fashion for Enel Basket Brindisi in Italy’s Serie A league. He averaged a remarkable 14 rebounds a game over the last month of the season, including a season high 17 rebound performance in the season finale. Anosike concluded the season averaging a league high 10.1 rebounds. This marks the fifth (!!!!) consecutive season that Anosike has led his league in rebounding, dating back to the 2011-12 season at Siena College. He added three double-doubles while shooting 54.2 percent from the floor for the season.

“I’m happy that I was able to join Brindisi and make such an impact on the team and fans right away” said Anosike. “From the second I arrived, the city embraced me and gravitated towards me. I want to sincerely thank the Enel organization for allowing me represent their team, I really enjoyed my time there”.

As for the future, Anosike is still pondering different opportunities. In the meantime, Anosike will compete in the TBT $2 million tournament this summer alongside former Siena Saints Ronald Moore and Ryan Rossiter. The 25 year old is now a free agent.
