Anosike heads back to Europe, signs in top league in Greece
After a short break, OD Anosike is made the decision to continue his career in Europe. The 30 year-old forward/center has signed a season-long deal with Lavrio in Greece’s A1 league, the highest level of competition in the country. This won’t be the first time for Anosike in Greece has he enjoyed a stint there with AEK during the 2015-2016 season.
“I’m excited to be heading back to Europe and continuing my career in a place like Greece” said Anosike. “I’ve had the chance to play there before and I’ve always said I would welcome the opportunity to play there again. Lavrio is an ambitious club with playoff aspirations. I’m looking forward to joining my new team and helping them reach new heights”.
Lavrio currently sits in third place in the standings at 7-3. Anosike will be joining his new team at the end of the week.
