Anosike inks in Mexico, returns to defending champions Fuerza Regia
After a successful season in France, OD Anosike has decided to return to familiar territory and ink a short-term deal with Fuerza Regia in Mexico. Winners of the previous two LNBP championships that Anosike was a part of, he returns to the club who has its eyes on capturing a third championship in as many seasons.
“I’m excited to come back to a place that I’ve become accustomed to over the past few years” said Anosike. “The organization runs like a well-oiled machine. The treat us like professionals and allow us to concentrate on our jobs, which is to perform on the court. I’m thankful that we were able to reach an agreement and continue our collaboration together”.
Mexico’s LNBP season begins June 21, with Fuerza Regia beginning it’s season on June 22 in a road matchup against Libertadores. The 20-game regular season concludes September 21, while the playoffs commence on September 25.
