Anosike returns to Mexico, re-signs with Fuerza Regia
After an extended offseason, OD Anosike has contractually agreed to return to Mexico and defend the LNBP Eastern Conference title with Fuerza Regia. With the signing, Anosike embarks on his 8th professional season with stints in countries including Italy, France, Spain, and South Korea.
“I’m really excited to get back to playing again” said Anosike. “This summer has been a difficult one for all of us. This is a special profession and one that I will never take for granted. I’m looking forward to rejoining a team and city that was so gracious to me last season”.
Fuerza Regia will look to defend their 2020 Eastern Conference title and aim to win the league title as they did in 2019. With a shortened season, the regular season will conclude on October 31, and the playoffs will begin on November 3.
