Anosike signs in Canada, inks summer deal with Montreal Alliance
After a strong showing in Turkey, OD Anosike came to an agreement with Canada’s Montreal Alliance, who competes in the country’s top league, the CEBL. With the signing of the deal, Canada will mark the 11th country of Anosike’s professional career.
“I’m really excited to join the team” said Anosike. “Canada’s CEBL has been growing year after year. I’m looking forward to being a part of a winning culture and high-level organization, and hopefully making my mark in a new league”.
The Alliance currently stand at 5-4, good for second place in the Eastern Conference. The team is back in action on Saturday, June 28 in a road matchup against conference rival, the Ottawa BlackJacks. The season is set to conclude in August.
