Anosike’s solid play leads Varese over Rosa Radom
Pallacanestro Varese took home a much needed road victory Tuesday night over Polish squad Rosa Radom, 74-61. O.D. Anosike lead a balanced attack, producing 10 points and grabbing a game high 10 rebounds.
“It feels great to come back from a road trip with a win” said Anosike. “The team has been struggling as of late — I’m proud of the way our guys played in a hostile environment like Radom.”
Anosike continues his stellar play as of late, producing his third Champions League double-double. In Italian League Serie A competition, Anosike has been even better, leading the league in rebounds at a 11.6 per game clip. His seven double-doubles also rank first in the league.
With the win, Pallacanestro Varese improves to 3-9 in Champions League play while Rosa Radom falls to 3-9. Varese returns to action Wednesday night against Turkish power Usak in another Champions League matchup.
