Fuerza Regia falls in finals in Game 7
Fuerza Regia put up a hard fought battle in the league championship, but unfortunately they fell just short of bringing home their second consecutive title. They fell to Soles Mexicali 77-66 in a road match-up.
“It’s never enjoyable to come so close to your goal and then come up short” said Anosike. “This loss hurts, but I’m proud of all that we’ve accomplished this season. I appreciate the opportunity Monterrey gave me to be a part of a great team and organization. I wish them the best moving forward”.
Fuerza Regia concluded the regular season at 24-12. Anosike put up solid numbers, with averages of 12.4 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 15 double-doubles in 25 minutes per game. His rebounding numbers landed him at 5th in the league, while his double double numbers landed him in the top 10 of the league.
