Gaziantep wins 5 straight, Anosike wins Player of the Month

Over the last month, Gaziantep has found their rhythm that has made them one of the league’s hottest teams. On Sunday afternoon, they defeated Ormanspor 86-76 in a home matchup, their 5th victory in a row. The streak has done a lot for their confidence, but also in the standings as they move into 10th place. OD Anosike put up a well-rounded performance with 11 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists.

“We’ve been working hard over the last few weeks to reverse the negative course of the beginning of the season” said Anosike. “Winning 5 straight in this league isn’t easy. We’re proud of what we’re doing, but not satisfied. Hopefully we can keep the momentum going”

With the win, Gaziantep now stands at 11-12. Their next game will be Saturday, February 8 in a home matchup against Haremspor.
