Lavrio finishes regular season on high note, clinches second seed in Greek A1 playoffs

After a 22-game regular season slate, OD Anosike and Lavrio closed out the regular season in positive fashion, beating Larissa 81-75 at home. Anosike chipped in with 6 points and 6 rebounds.

“It was a great way to finish our regular season,” said Anosike. “We’ve worked hard all year while overcoming adversity and keeping our eyes on the most important thing, which is winning. With that being said, the job’s not finished. We’ll enjoy this win, but we’re looking forward to the playoffs and trying to make a deep run”.

Lavrio concludes the regular season as the second seed with a record of 17-5. The team will face seven-seed Kolossos Rhodes in the quarterfinals of the Greek A1 playoffs which is set to begin in mid May.
