Tough defense & strong rebounding: Anosike powers Cholet to road win against Dijon
Cholet Basket has been enjoying great success since the new year. Winners of 5 out of their last 6, Cholet went on the road to beat 5-seed Dijon 87-80 on Saturday night. OD Anosike finished with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists in the victory.
“It was a great team win that came from the work we’ve been putting in the past few weeks” said Anosike. “We’ve really changed the course of our season over the past two months. I’m really proud of this group for having the resolve to turn things around”.
Since Anosike arrived, the team has responded with a 7-4 record, after starting the season 3-9. The team looks to continue their upward momentum in a home matchup against Limoges on March 25.
