Year 11 on the way, Anosike signs with Iranian power Mahram
OD Anosike will embark on a new challenge in a new country for his 11th professional season as he recently penned a one-year contract with Iranian club Mahram. The ambitious team finished in 5th last year’s regular season campaign and has championship aspirations for the upcoming season.
“I’m eager to get to work and discover a new country, team, and league” said Anosike. “Even in my 11th season, I don’t take any opportunity for granted. There are many talented players in the world and when a team offers to bring me to their team, it means a lot. I’m thankful and I’ll work endlessly to make all Mahram supporters proud this season”.
Iran will be the ninth country of Anosike’s professional career. Anosike joins a team that has already started 2-0 in the regular season. Anosike will take part in his first game on November 6 against Tabiat.
