Anosike has double-double, leads Cholet to victory over top-ranked Levallois
It was a magical night in Cholet to say the least. With the help of OD Anosike’s 16 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 blocks, Cholet soared to a 93-87 victory in front of a sold-out crowd.
“We played a great game from start to finish” said Anosike. “They’re obviously a great team and very well-coached. We knew it would be a tough game, but we were up for the challenge. We showed great resiliency during the third when we lost the lead and were able to battle back and get a much-needed win”.
With the victory and two more regular season games still left to play, Cholet now moves into the playoffs with a 17-15 record. With the loss, Levallois loses its position of first place and drops to second at 23-9. Cholet will now play newly top-ranked ASVEL on May 10 in Lyon.
